What I did

ModCloth.com is an e-commerce site that sells vintage-inspired indie fashion for women. I was drawn to ModCloth because of its incredibly engaged community and its admirable mission to democratize fashion through crowd-sourcing. While at ModCloth, I worked on a huge variety of highly-visible projects with clearly defined success metrics. For these projects, I created user flows, sketches, high-fidelity mocks, and prototypes:

  • Be the Buyer (BtB), ModCloth’s game-like crowd-sourcing initiative that places sourcing decisions in the hands of customers. The goal of BtB was to get smarter about purchasing decisions while keeping the customer engaged.
  • A redesign of the Product Detail Page geared at increased conversion rate and increased basket size.
  • Quicklook, an interface for quickly reviewing product on the category view with a goal to increase product views and basket size.
  • A redesign of the cart and checkout process geared at decreased dropoff rates and increased conversions.
  • A facebook application with the purpose of increasing virality of ModCloth products on social networks by enabling facebook gifting.
  • Multiple projects that involved interface updates to ModCloth’s custom admin platform. For these projects, I directly gathered requirements from stakeholders and designed solutions that let them be more efficient at their jobs.
